Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Faith Formation experience for children
3-12 years old, founded on the educational principals of Maria Montessori,
and is rooted in Scripture and Liturgy.
The children gather in a special environment called an atrium.

Our atrium for Level I and Level II Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
 is located at St. John Capistran Church.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level I
 ages 3-6 (preschool & kindergarten)
*3 year olds must be bathroom independent
Tuesdays 9:30-11:00 a.m. @SJC
Tuesdays 4:30-6:00 p.m. @SJC
Thursdays 4:30-6:00 p.m. @SJC  

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level II
 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade
Tuesdays 4:30-6:00 p.m. @SJC (FULL)
Thursdays 4:30-6:00 p.m. @SJC
Level II CGS will be limited to those children who have been in Level I CGS and are moving up to Level II, as well as to those children who were in Level II CGS for first & second grade.
